Gabriel Lepousez
Chercheur spécialiste de la perception sensorielle
Description
Gabriel Lepousez is a neurobiologist and researcher specialising in sensory perception and brain plasticity in the Perception and Memory laboratory. For almost 20 years, Gabriel has been studying how our sensory brain perceives, analyses, memorises and interprets information from our environment, and how these processes malfunction in certain neurological diseases. Passionate about wine and wine tasting, he uses all his expertise as a neuroscience researcher to understand how the taste of wine is formed in our brains, in the light of the latest scientific discoveries. He teaches on several university diplomas (Diplôme National d'Oenologie, Master d'Analyse Sensorielle, Master of Wine Management) and in international wine education programmes. He is a member of the Tasting Committee of the Revue du Vin de France, the Académie du Vin de France, the Académie Amorim and the College of Rectors of the Union des Oenologues de France.
