Sparkling Wine Forum The symposium on the future of sparkling wines

Sparkling Wine Forum is a symposium that proposes to link the fields of research, economic development and innovation at all levels of the sparkling wine sector. It is a professional event dedicated to producers of sparkling wines, companies in the sector, oenologists, specialized press, etc.

Thanks to Masterclass, conferences, tastings and networking, the aim  is to promote latest innovations worldwide in the sparkling wines segment. Resolutely international,  Sparkling Wine Forum alternates each year between France and other host countries, key producers of sparkling wines.

Sparkling Wine Forum is an event born at the initiative of EFFEVENT, a French company based in Reims that also organises the VITeff trade show and aims to position Champagne as an international crossroads of innovation and technical expertise for the sparkling wine sector.

Meet in Champagne (France) for the 5th Sparkling Wine Forum

After four editions held in France and Italy, the fifth edition of the Sparkling Wine Forum will take place at the Village by CA in Reims-Bezannes in Champagne. (France) on March 23rd of 2027. This international gathering will bring together researchers, professionals, and companies from the sparkling wine sector through conferences and masterclasses.

This event, a true crossroads of research, economic development, and innovation, will continue to promote the sharing of expertise by combining the strengths of different sparkling wine-producing regions in France and abroad to address the challenges facing the industry.

The first Sparkling Wine Forum fully addressed the current concerns of those involved in the sparkling wine sector, focusing on the issue of "How can sparkling wines cope with climate change?"

To this end, a number of targeted conferences and presentations were organised, featuring contributions from researchers from Champagne and other sparkling wine regions in France and abroad.

The industry's most active innovators also took the floor to present their research and development strategies and unveil new products and services.

The second edition in 2024 strengthened the international dimension, hosted in the heart of the Franciacorta appellation in Italy. It also provided an opportunity to explore other challenges facing the sparkling wine industry, such as consumer expectations, No/Low and natural alternatives to SO2.
