Description
Méven Otheguy is a researcher in sensory sciences applied to wine at the IFV-SICAREX Beaujolais Sensory Centre. He studied sensory analysis at AgroSup Dijon and obtained a Ph.D where he studied wine expertise with different types of experts: oenologists, sommeliers, and critics in the Beaujolais vineyard. Thanks to its multidisciplinary approach, the Sensory Centre’s research provides answers to questions raised by the wine industry and generates knowledge for the scientific community. Research focuses on the wine and its container, as well as on the representations and perceptions of different types of expert or consumer tasters.
