Champagne and sustainability: measuring and reducing the carbon footprint

Since 2003, the Champagne sector has been actively committed to an ambitious environmental approach. Since then, the Comité Champagne has been working to monitor and improve the environmental impact of the sector's wine-making activities. In this talk, the industry's carbon footprint will be presented, along with the tools that can be used on a daily basis to eco-design sustainable solutions. To illustrate the methodology, a focus will be placed on assessing the environmental footprint of antifreeze methods.
