Biodiversity and ecosystem services in viticulture: the contribution of remote sensing and artificial intelligence
Presented by
Description
In recent years, biodiversity is acquiring ever greater importance in vineyard management as a functional element in the planning of agronomic and structural interventions. This thanks to the growing awareness of the role that the ecosystem services that biodiversity offers have on the sustainability of wine-growing companies and territories. In this context, the presentation aims to describe the research experience of Agrofood Research Hub in the characterization of the structural and functional biodiversity of the epigean plant communities of Franciacorta vineyard agroecosystem through the use of remote sensing and artificial intelligence techniques.
